Welcome to Jim Best Ford
Jim Best Ford's new premises represents a $1.2 million vote of confidence in Clare and the surrounding districts.
Adjoining the showroom are offices for Jim Best, general manager Brenton Koch. Office manager Katrina Butterick mans a grand curved counter and there's even a customer lounge and kitchenette.
Around the corner is the service and parts reception where you'll find service manager Travers Potticary and Service Advisor Tracy Noble.
Out the back is a spacious eight-bay workshop where service technician Steve Watts and Greg Scott, and trainee technician Robbie Garland are loving the extra room.
There's also a vehicle preparation area in the workshop where you'll find vehicle detailers Rodney Grace and Ricky Lee.
A mezzanine floor above the workshop provides the staff lunch room and training room, where the service technicians can watch the latest updates via satellite from Ford and the apprentices can do their theory lessons. Outside there is room to display up to 40 new and used cars and a customer carpark.
Protecting the environment has been a prime consideration in the design of the premises, with all waste separated and reclaimed before the water enters the drainage system.
Oils and other fluids from the workshop are stored ina tank and taken away on a regular basis by a licensed contractor.
